How to create a WhatsApp Group
Introduction
WhatsApp groups are a great way to share messages, videos, and photos with your friends. You can also use them to organize events or discuss topics that aren't appropriate for individual chats (like religion). In this article, we'll show you how easy it is to create an official group on WhatsApp!

To create a WhatsApp group, you need to open your phone app and go to the “WhatsApp” section. Then tap on “Groups” and choose Add Group.
To add members to your WhatsApp group, simply type in their full name (including all characters), phone number, or email address into one of these fields:

Follow these steps:

Tap the Chats tab, then tap New group.

Type in a name for your new group and tap Save, then confirm by tapping Done or anything else to continue with this guide (this will allow you to save it).
Open WhatsApp.

Tap New group in the Group section of your chat settings page, or just click here if you want to create a new group without opening WhatsApp first.

Add friends to a group. To add people to your WhatsApp group, tap + and select the friend you want to add. You can also tap + again when viewing a chat thread to see all of your contacts who are currently online on WhatsApp and invite them into the conversation by tapping their name at the top of their profile card (it will say "Invite").

Change the subject for a WhatsApp Group. If you want to change what kind of content is sent as part of a message within a given group, do so by tapping Edit Group Settings on any particular member's profile card (located under contact info). In order for this feature to work properly, be sure that everyone in your WhatsApp group has updated their privacy settings accordingly before proceeding with any changes!

If the contact is using WhatsApp, you can simply start typing a name or phone number in the search field to find them. Once you find them, tap their name and then tap Add. To create an open-ended chat conversation with someone who isn't in your phonebook but might know about this new WhatsApp Group, type @ followed by their username (or use Search). Then choose Invite from within that chat window; when prompted for permission for this request for membership into our group called "My First Whatsapp Group", click Accept invites from everyone except yourself since we only allow one person per group so far!
